CEA engineers collaborate with end users and consulting firms to develop premium engineered systems. These systems are designed using components from world-class manufacturers and are built at our Edmonton facility.

As an APEGA permit holder, CEA upholds the highest standards in engineering, safety, quality, and professionalism.
Control Valve Pneumatic Air Panels by Custom Energized Air

Valve Automation

Valve automation systems integrate actuators and control panels to operate valves and support various factory processes. These systems handle on-off or modulating service, with setups tailored to the valve type, process conditions, and operating environment. They are commonly used on knife gate, ball, plug, and butterfly valves, as well as in pneumatic clamping and batching applications.

Options include fail-open, fail-close, fail-last, partial stroke testing, two-speed closure, and electropneumatic control. For cold-weather applications, components rated for low temperatures are critical. Systems are designed to customer specifications, fully assembled, and tested before delivery.

Air Compressor
Skid Packages

When facility expansion or increased production demands more compressed air, space limitations or high modification costs may prevent on-site equipment installation. In these cases, a complete, self-contained air compression skid is a practical solution, requiring only a power connection and delivering compressed air through a single line.

Each skid includes a full system: compressor, filtration, air receivers, dryers, and other components needed to meet operational, safety, and environmental standards.

Regenerative
Dryer Assemblies

CEA has developed a line of regenerative dryers specifically engineered and tested to endure Canada’s unique temperatures and environmental conditions. These dryers feature enhanced safeguards and user-friendly designs, making them easy to operate and maintain. They are ideally suited for rental applications and harsh outdoor climates.

Our team of pneumatic and hydraulic experts are passionate about what we do. There’s no limit to the level of complexity or technology we can incorporate into our designs.

Instrument Purge
Gas Systems

Process instruments such as TDLS analyzers and gas chromatographs often require continuous or timed purging with industrial gases like air, nitrogen, or argon. This gas flow is managed by a custom-designed purge gas panel, tailored to meet specific requirements including gas type, pressure, flow rate, and purge cycles.

At CEA, we design, build, and rigorously test each panel to ensure reliable performance in the field.
